Loveramics, a name fashioned from our "Love of Ceramics", is a brand created by a passionate group of people who share the same goal; to create beautiful, practical and affordable product.
It has become a young and energetic brand bringing a breath of fresh air to the ceramic world by offering contemporary design led products that are accessible and enhance our everyday lives. Loveramics wants to retain the values of craftsmanship in the manufacturing process and are motivated to be a worldwide brand embracing the global villagers.
The founder William Lee decided to put his passion for ceramics as the central driving force for his future. With his love of ceramics he had one simple ambition, to create tableware that he would be proud to own and cherish.
At that time he felt tableware had become either a commodity, or creatively stagnated in a classic formal style. William and his wife Grace liked neither of those directions. "We felt that there were very few modern, affordable ceramics out there and because we couldn’t find anything we liked we decided to make it ourselves!”
So they joined forces with reputed British designer, Simon Stevens. With his experience of European design and their Asian influences they have created many truly fusion orientated collections.
Our business follows a global model. While the head office is in Hong Kong, the products are designed in the UK. Ideas are developed seamlessly with the use of internet conferencing and data file transfers utilising the global digital networks. Materials are sourced worldwide from carefully selected suppliers. Loveramics makes sure that any supplier they work with operates in an ethical and socially responsible way before there is any collaboration. Loveramics uses advanced computer generated modelling for the development of their ceramics products creating precise and accurate models, which is rare in this very traditional industry. This attention to detail gives Loveramics products a point of difference.
The products are then shipped and distributed to warehouses in Hong Kong, Europe, China and USA. This allows Loveramics to deal directly with the end consumers improving efficiency and reducing its environmental impact.
